of a Bespoke STationery concept

Casey was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, and Manon is a California girl. To celebrate both of these histories, we pulled inspiration from both these places: We pulled elements of classic Equestrian style from Casey's hometown but transformed them with a few modern touches and a west coast color story.

Casey and Manon's monogram was used in many ways and in many sizes throughout their designs. Here, on the cover of the details booklet, we surrounded the letters with a sketch of a horseshoe in order to tie the monogram to the equestrian motifs.

The couple chose extra thoughtful details to make sure that their closest friends and family felt their love and gratitude. For example, we designed these custom boutonnière tags to label the correct recipient of each bout.

Like a very special gift for each guest to unwrap, each invitation suite was wrapped in a translucent vellum wrap, a thin velvet ribbon and a delicate horseshoe charm (for good luck, of course!)

The couple wanted guests to feel warmly welcomed to the weekend's celebrations. So, we designed this packet of information, wrapped in a leather cord, to include in each guest's welcome basket. Each basket was also adorned with a personalized name tag.

Anatomy

We selected vintage stamps that help to tell Manon and Casey's story. For instance, this beautiful stamp of a US Navy ship is a nod to Casey's long family history of military service.

As we combined inspiration from two different states, we also juxtaposed classic design with modern elements. We topped their invitation with a classic interlocking monogram - a fixture of traditional invitation design - but we chose to print it in a large size that feels much more modern.
